Francesco Cucchi, previously known as Nan Kolè, announces his new musical project. Leaving his previous artist name behind, Francesco adopts the new moniker Blu Ritual to display his more experimental work, inspired by his early introduction to music, and a respectful appreciation of Western and non-Western mysticism and spiritual development.

Sitting in his London studio during lockdown, Francesco began the process of looking into his past to process where his journey started—specifically, in the late 90s rave era. To get mentally back to this period, he made the move back to analogue and digital hardware, and recorded through a 90s analogue Mackie mixer in search of an organic, raw sound.

The idiosyncratic result of his artistic quest will be shared with the rest of the universe on the 2nd of December 2020 via MFZ Records: a double-cassette release featuring 2 albums, "Numbers and Colours" and the one-night session "Epichysis". For the occasion, Francesco produced 2 versions of each album with some special bonus material that will only be available on cassette.

Different trajectories can be embodied in the same physical shell. The juxtapositions and paradoxes must be embraced in their beautiful imperfections, as our acceptance of the inner discrepancies of life can in turn bestow the beauty of love and art on us all.
